The Ruckus SmartZone 100 is a high-performance controller that can manage up to 1,000 access points. This model has 4 x GE RJ45 ports. Thanks to the active/active/passive 3+1 cluster, you can centrally manage up to 3,000 access points. Scaling is not the only advantage. In addition, you have the option of running a device in standby, which would go active if one of the active controllers were to fail. This way you always have full power and control over your Wifi networks, even in an emergency.
The controller is suitable for all purposes of a Wifi. From internal company networks to guest networks to the provision of hotspots.
The Ruckus SmartZone 100, as well as the access points that are managed via it, integrate easily into existing layer 2 and layer 3 networks. The access points are automatically detected and configured by the Ruckus SmartZone 100.
Thanks to the high level of automation, there is little administrative effort. Wifi channels and transmission power are automatically set to ensure optimal coverage and the least possible interference.
