The FortiAP 433F access point supports the latest 802.11ax Wifi-6 standard, enabling transmission rates of up to 4.8GBit per 5GHz radio. The access point includes a 5GHz radio, a radio that can operate in 2.4 or 5GHz mode and a 2.4GHz radio with up to 300MBit transmission speed. In addition, you have the option of operating the device redundantly via two PoE+ sources. Other features of this series include 802.11ac beamforming (TxBF), multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO) and much more. The combination of the 802.11ax standard and its advanced features provide your IT infrastructure with a better data client rate over longer distances. The unit has external antennas.
FortiAP access points are managed free of charge and centrally via the integrated WLAN controller of any FortiGate security appliance or via the FortiAP Cloud deployment and management portal, which is also free of charge. By integrating wireless controller functionality with the market-leading FortiGate appliance, these APs are perfect for protecting your LAN edge from campus to branch offices.
