A lot has changed since the launch of the Sophos XG Firewall. Our concerns about the new firewall generation from Sophos were very great. Unfortunately, our concerns were confirmed. Unfortunately, the first versions of Sophos XG Firewall were anything but smooth and we advised our customers to stay with or purchase the supposedly "old" Sophos SG Firewall Serie for the time being.

In the meantime, however, most parts of Sophos XG-Serie are fully functional and Sophos XG version 17.1 provides what we consider a very stable firewall. Thus, the "new" XG series is slowly but surely becoming a worthy successor to the Sophos SG series.

In order to make it easy for customers to switch, Sophos has provided a very extensive collection of instructions and documents. In these how-to's, the appropriate explanations can be found for all scenarios. A look at umfangreiche Sammlung will certainly be worth your while!
