An object list is a list of objects that is occasionally displayed on the left side of the WebAdmin, temporarily covering the main menu.

An object list opens automatically when you click on the folder icon (see section above). It can also be opened manually using a keyboard shortcut (see Administration > WebAdmin Settings >User Settings).

The object list provides quick access to WebAdmin objects such as users/groups, interfaces, networks and services to select them for configuration purposes. Objects are selected by simply dragging them to the current configuration and dropping them over the appropriate field (drag and drop).

There are five different types of object lists, corresponding to the object types that exist. Clicking on the folder icon always opens the object list whose type is required by the current configuration.
